Jennifer Hill has worked in learning outcomes assessment for over 17 years, most of which at Duke University. She currently serves as Director of the Office of Assessment, Trinity College, where her major responsibilities include strategic planning for assessment of the general education, data resource planning and data services, technology resource development, assessment consultations with academic departments, and standing and ad hoc University and College committees. She is active with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on College participating in reaffirmation on-site visits and chairing the 2021 and 2022 SACSCOC Annual Meeting planning committees. She teaches research methods in the Program in Education at Duke and advises honors theses and capstone projects, and she is an undergraduate pre-major advisor. An alumna of the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Hill has an M.A. in Political Science (Duke University), as well as M.Ed. and Ed.D. degrees in Education (North Carolina State University). Her professional interests include quantitative research methods for assessment, data visualizations, and the development of technology platforms to study student learning.
