I completed a 3-day religious fast, only drinking apple juice and water throughout the entire time.
Some of my hobbies include exercising, watching anime, and binge-watching TV shows. On campus, I'm actively involved with Duke NSBE and DukeAFRICA, serving on the executive board as the Finance Chair and Student Liaison, respectively. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work with Raytheon, where I wrote code to analyze test data for a 360-degree radar system designed to detect incoming missiles and aircraft.
I’m looking forward to the upcoming semester, particularly taking a Robotics course and enhancing my programming skills. My goal for this year is to secure an internship in the tech industry and to work towards advancing into a senior leadership position in the future.
The community I gain as a SPIRE Fellow is incredibly rewarding. I am surrounded by a supportive and kind group of peers and faculty, which empowers me to pursue my goals in STEM. I also greatly appreciate the excellent resources and financial assistance provided, which help me access the software and tools needed for my STEM-related endeavors.
