My journey is shaped by a passion for technology, community service, and personal growth. I am currently pursuing a degree in computer science, with the ultimate goal of specializing in cybersecurity. Driven by a deep commitment to protect digital assets and ensure online safety, I envision building a cybersecurity firm that safeguards the interests of individuals, businesses, and governments.
Outside the classroom, I find fulfillment in community involvement and leadership. As Vice President of the East Campus Council, I'm dedicated to enhancing campus life for my fellow freshman. I'm also a member of the National Society of Black Engineers and the Black Student Alliance, where I contribute to Service and Outreach initiatives. Community service has always been a significant part of my life, and I've accumulated over 450 hours volunteering. I plan to continue giving back and being involved with the community as much as I can.
When I'm not focused on academics or service, you can often find me in the gym, embracing fitness as a core part of my routine. I'm also an avid movie watcher, always on the lookout for new films to expand my understanding of storytelling and creativity, Hercules is the greatest animation of all time by the way. I’ve also recently started getting into photography and media, so when you see me with a camcorder or my camera, just smile or say cheese. Overall, My varied interests from technology and engineering to community service and fitness demonstrate my commitment to both personal growth and the betterment of society. With these experiences, I’m excited to contribute, innovate, and make an impact on the world, and grow as an individual.
What I love most about being a SPIRE Fellow is the incredible opportunity to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who share my passion for growth and achievement. I am surrounded by people I look up to, those who have already accomplished the things I aspire to achieve, and learning from their experiences while growing under their mentorship is invaluable. Being part of such a diverse community, where everyone brings unique perspectives and different ways of thinking, is helping me become a better intellectual. I'm excited to contribute to and learn from this dynamic group.
