Fun Fact

I enjoy making ceramics!

Growing up in Durham, I have always been surrounded by Duke. Whether Duke Forest, or the Lemur Center, Duke was always a constant part of the scenery. Coming to Duke, however, has brought this scenery to life. From working at the Lemur Center, to doing field research in Kenya, studying abroad in Madrid, and behind the scenes tours at the Smithsonian’s Museum of Natural History, the opportunities at Duke are seemingly endless.

My excitement and curiosity about the natural world and connections within it has only been strengthened by my time in the Biology major at Duke. In the future, I would like to pursue a PhD in whole animal biology, ecology, zoology, or marine biology. Ideally, this path would include both field and lab work.
