I'm a big rock music fan!
I love computers! I've loved playing video games ever since I was a little kid, and this has followed me into my passions and has been a big factor in leading me into pursing computer science. I'm a new member of the women's wellness club here at Duke, and outside of Duke, I am a Thrive Scholar. In the future, I hope to work in graphics and AI to advance the realm of computer graphics in general and possibly in gaming. I'm also really interested in math and have recently learned that chemistry is pretty cool too.
What do you like about being a SPIRE Fellow?
Although I'm a new SPIRE fellow, I'm most excited about building a community of scholars who have faced barriers like I have. I hope to study together with other fellows and use the tutoring and mentorship opportunities that SPIRE can provide.
